Turia Pitt shares first baby bump photo
Last month, the whole nation was thrilled to learn that Turia Pitt, tri-athlete and survivor of a horrific grass fire, was pregnant with her first child. Now, while she and partner Michael celebrate the news on an “epic safari” through Namibia, she’s shared the first photo of her baby bump.
Captioned, “Hot, sweaty and just a little bit in love with this Namibian desert,” the Instagram post is the first we’ve heard from Turia and Michael for two weeks, after the couple set off on their babymoon and decided to “switch off and enjoy the company of each other, and I suppose, a lion or two as well.”
The lovebirds appeared on 60 Minutes last month to announce the news, with Michael gushing that they “couldn’t be happier”. “Turia told me she’s the happiest she’s ever been.”
We wish Turia all the best for her pregnancy and can’t wait to see the first pictures of the new bub!
