Prince William and Kate Middleton reveal what they struggle with as parents
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not immune from parenting struggles, and with three young kids, there is no doubt they would have their own difficulties as parents.
While on a video chat with UK youth charity the PEEK Project, Prince William admitted that like so many parents quarantining with their kids, he and the Duchess of Cambridge struggle with their young brood at times.
Chef Charlie Farrally asked William if he related to his least favourite time of day.
“You'll know yourself — the hardest time is dinnertime,” the chef said, to which he was met with quick agreement from Prince William who presented his own issue.
“Depends on what's on the table, though, Charlie," the prince said.
“If the parents put on something that the children love, dinnertime goes very well. But, if you put something on the table they don't want, that's another ballgame.”
The pair have given royal onlookers a rare glimpse into their everyday lives with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during lockdown.
Kate admitted that while her kids are stuck at home, she tells them a “cheeky lie” to keep them entertained during the school holidays.
She also revealed that he and her husband have to come between squabbling youngsters from time to time.
Speaking about homeschooling, Kate told a hilarious story about her eldest son, saying: "George gets very upset because he just wants to do all of Charlotte’s projects. Spider sandwiches are far cooler than literacy work.”
