Fans share concern over Sam Armytage's dog: "Her dog is obese"

<p>Fans have taken to social media to express concern for Samantha Armytage’s Labrador dog, Banjo.</p> <p>Online commentary has kicked off after recent photos of the only five-year-old dog were shared, with many suggesting Banjo is at a worrying weight.</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7841979/banjo-armytage.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/b9e86791167a4dd2882f98301401bc03" /></p> <p>“Please put Banjo on a diet - he shouldn't be that big, it's not fair on him,” one concerned observer said.</p> <p>Another wrote: “Her dog is obese, she should take the dog for a walk and get off the couch.”</p> <p>Others felt sad for Banjo’s physical appearance.</p> <p>One fan jokingly offered to digitally reduce the dog's waistline, writing, “Hey Sam, I will photo shop your dog for $20. It will look real. Just saying....”</p> <p>Some fans were simply happy for Sam and Banjo who have a lot more time to spend together now since resigning from her role on <em>Sunrise</em>.</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7841977/banjo-armytage-1.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/364146f6a4794cef84db14874949b1be" /></p> <p>Samantha made the decision to step down from Channel 7's breakfast program earlier this year, and I’d now fronting her own podcast called <em>Something To Talk About</em> for <em>Stellar magazine.</em></p> <p>Rumours raged for months that Sam may be looking to quit after the couple announced their engagement in June last year.</p> <p>She tied the knot with the millionaire businessman on New Year's Eve, in a beautiful and intimate ceremony at his Southern Highlands home.</p>
