All my thoughts and love being sent your way ❤️,” a third commented. </p> <p>Sims and Ruffo first met at a dance studio in 2015 and had an unbreakable bond. </p> <p>Ruffi was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017. "Taken way too soon": TV star's brother breaks silence after shocking death

<p>The grieving brother of slain TV star Johnny Wactor has broken his silence over his brother's untimely death. </p> <p>Johnny Wactor, 37, was <a href="https://oversixty.com.au/health/caring/soap-star-killed-in-robbery-gone-wrong" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed</a> in Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday morning when he intercepted a group of men trying to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle, and was shot dead at the scene. </p> <p>Now, Wactor's brother Grant has shared more details on the events surrounding his Johnny's death, telling <a href="https://people.com/general-hospital-actor-johnny-wactors-brother-speaks-out-on-killing-taken-way-too-early-8654340" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>People</em></a> magazine that he had finished a shift working as a bartender at the time he was shot. </p> <p>After his shift finished at about 3:25am local time, he walked to his car with a female co-worker when he noticed that his car had been “jacked up or lifted in some way”.</p> <p>Initially, the actor thought his car was being towed away, but quickly realised the people surrounding his car were not tow-truck drivers.</p> <p>Grant said his brother physically shielded his female colleague to prevent her from being hurt and had his hands up in the air when he was shot.</p> <p>“He did not confront them,” he told the publication. “He did not try to stop them. He was just trying to diffuse the situation by stepping back.”</p> <p>After the shooting the men fled the scene in a different car, and LAPD officer Jeff Lee said the suspects were “still outstanding”.</p> <p>Grant Wactor said his family were “hoping and praying” that the killers were found and brought to justice.</p> <p>“We just want (them to be found) as quickly as possible and correctly,” he said, describing his brother as “a good person”.</p> <p>“He was taken way too early, and no one should be taken like this at all,” he said.</p> <p>“He touched a lot of people. He believed in his core values to the end, and he lived life to the fullest the way he wanted to. Soap star killed in robbery gone wrong

<p><em>General Hospital</em> actor Johnny Wactor has died at the age of 37.</p> <p>The soap star was killed in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning when he stumbled across three men allegedly breaking into his car, according to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/05/26/general-hospital-actor-johnny-wactor-dead-shot-killed-robbery-attempt-car-catalytic-converter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>TMZ</em></a>. </p> <p>His mother, Scarlett, told the outlet that he was with a co-worker when they “saw three men messing with Johnny’s car”, but he didn't attempt to confront or fight them. </p> <p>Unfortunately, he was shot as the group took off. </p> <p>Paramedics arrived at the scene around 3am and took Johnny to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. </p> <p>According to the outlet, the description matched a reported incident in the area where three men were attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle. </p> <p>The suspects have not yet been found, and police have yet to release descriptions of the alleged thieves. </p> <p>Johnny's agent, David Shaul, has paid tribute to the actor and remembered him as “a spectacular human being” in an interview with <em>People</em>. </p> <p>“Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him,” Shaul said.</p> <p>“Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be.</p> <p>“Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back," he added. </p> <p>“After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”</p> <p>Johnny began his career in 2007 playing various roles on the show <em>Army Wives</em>.</p> <p>He most notably played Brando Corbin on <em>General Hospital</em>, appearing in almost 200 episodes of the show. </p> <p>He also appeared on hit shows like <em>NCIS, Criminal Minds, Station 19, The OA </em>and <em>Westworld</em>.</p> <p>Fans have taken also taken to social media to pay tribute to the actor. </p> <p>“How sad to learn of the death of Johnny Wactor so young and in such conditions! A star will shine brighter tonight [star] Condolences to his family and all the actor’s fans,” one tweeted. </p> <p>“RIP #JohnnyWactor. This world is such a cruel place. :(,” another added. </p> <p>“I am beyond words about Johnny Wactor, a life that was taken without cause. <p>Johnny Ruffo's girlfriend has shared her first Instagram post of 2024, sharing how she is getting through since the loss of her partner. </p> <p>Tahnee Sims took to social media to share a selection of photos from the highlights of January and February, with the snaps showing her smiling and having fun with friends. </p> <p>In amongst the pictures of the good days, the 30-year-old posted a devastating quote about grief from novelist Anne Lamott, as she continued to struggle with the loss of Johnny. </p> <p>“You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never get over the loss of your beloved,” read the quote Sims shared on Sunday.</p> <p>“But this is also the good news."</p> <p>“They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up, and you come through."</p> <p>“It’s like a broken leg that never heals perfectly — that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.”</p> <p>Friends and family flocked to the comments on the post to share their love and support for Tahnee. “So good to see you smiling again,” wrote Home and Away star Lynne McGranger, a close friend of Ruffo’s.</p> <p>“Loving seeing these happy moments. <p>Johnny Galecki has dropped two huge announcements in his latest interview - he secretly married partner Morgan Galecki and they have welcomed their first child together.</p> <p>The <em>Big Bang Theory </em>star, 48, confirmed the news to <em>Architectural Digest</em>, as he was giving them a tour of his gothic-style Tennessee mansion. </p> <p>According to the publication, Morgan was pregnant at the time of the photoshoot, despite her bump not being quite obvious in photos. </p> <p>The pair welcomed their daughter, Oona Evelena, shortly after. <p>Lynne McGranger has opened up about how her first impressions of Johnny Ruffo were "so, so wrong", before the pair formed an unlikely friendship. </p> <p>Opening up to <em>7Life</em>, the veteran <em>Home and Away</em> actress shared when she first met Ruffo, when he joined the cast of the soap in 2013 after finding fame on <em>The X Factor</em>.</p> <p>Lynne recalled watching Ruffo, who is now battling terminal brain cancer, on the singing competition and “thinking he was such a talent”.</p> <p>“I do remember him coming onto the show and, to be honest, probably rolling my eyes and thinking, bloody reality television star,” Lynne tells <a href="https://7news.com.au/entertainment" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link-type="article-inline"><em>7Life</em>.</a></p> <p>“I did see him on <em>X Factor</em> and I remember thinking he was gorgeous, smart, funny and a beautiful guy."</p> <p>“I thought he was such a talent, but then rolled my eyes going, well he’s not an actor so what the hell is he doing here?”</p> <p>Lynne says despite her reservations on his first on-set day, the pair had an instant connection and became the best of friends.</p> <p>“Those initial thoughts of mine were so, so wrong,” she admits.</p> <p>“It couldn’t have been further from the truth because he was a hard worker; he really, really wanted to nail it and learn about acting.”</p> <p>Looking back on Ruffo’s three years on the show, Lynne says he was “fun to be around and naughty”.</p> <p>“We just hit it off from day one, and I’m sort of like his older sister or he calls me his ‘East Coast Mama’ because his actual mama is on the west coast.”</p> <p>Despite their 35-year age gap, Lynne believes the two remain close friends mainly because their “sense of humour is the same”.</p> <p>“He is the most irreverent person you could ever, ever meet but because he’s funny and cheeky he gets away with murder,” she laughs.</p> <div> <p>“He’s just naughty and irrepressible and all those things, and I think that’s what I loved about him."</p> <p>“Johnny doesn’t take himself too seriously, you know, for a young, handsome, talented man - he must have had women falling all over him.”</p> <p>While Johnny has been battling brain cancer, Lynne has been a fierce supporter of him and has stuck by his side while he goes through treatment. </p> <p>Previously <a href="https://oversixty.com.au/health/caring/she-s-been-amazing-the-friendship-helping-johnny-ruffo-through-cancer-treatment" target="_blank" rel="noopener">speaking</a> to <em>TV Week</em>, Ruffo said, "She's been amazing."</p> <p>"I can't stress enough how people like her help get through tough times. <p dir="ltr">Chicken heir Johnny Ingham and socialite Rey Vakili have tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Italy.</p> <p dir="ltr">Johnny and Rey celebrated with family and friends, including a few Aussie celebrities, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Taormina, Sicily.</p> <p dir="ltr">The newlyweds had im-peck-able taste, with purple flowers delicately placed throughout the venue which was central to the theme of the dreamy event.</p> <p dir="ltr">The bride looked like she walked straight out of a fairytale in an off-the-shoulder tulle gown that was embellished with flowers.</p> <p dir="ltr">She completed the look with a half-up, half-down hairdo and make up which encapsulated her natural glow.</p> <p dir="ltr">The groom looked hen-sem in a classic fitted black suit which matched his bride’s princess-like gown.</p> <p dir="ltr">The newlyweds shared moments from the event to their Instagram stories and a few celebrities were spotted in the pictures of the reception.</p> <p dir="ltr">Among them were Aussie comedian Andy Lee and his partner Rebecca Harding, PR founder Montarna Pitt and her husband Nick, and jewellery brand owner Charlotte Heinrich.</p> <p dir="ltr">A few other international guests in attendance included Isha Ambani, who was Rey’s bridesmaid and the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia.</p> <p dir="ltr">Friends and fans wished the newlyweds the best of cluck in a post shared to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuEf9xeBur6/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rey’s instagram</a> when she announced their marriage.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Gorgeous,” commented Aussie singer, Delta Goodrem.</p> <p dir="ltr">“So excited for you, beautiful! ❤️” wrote one friend.</p> <p dir="ltr">“I cannot wait to see! “Still kicking”: Johnny Ruffo shares hospital update

<p dir="ltr">Johnny Ruffo has provided his fans an update on his ongoing terminal cancer battle, assuring him that he’s “still kicking” with a snap to social media.</p> <p dir="ltr">The post, which he captioned “Still kicking this thing’s arse”, saw the Australian entertainer reclined in a hospital chair, both hands held in a peace sign to the camera. </p> <p dir="ltr">And while Johnny didn’t specify who had taken the picture, many assumed it to be his longtime partner, Tahnee Sims, who appeared to be giving him a big thumbs up in response. </p> <p dir="ltr">Friends and fans wasted no time in offering him their love and support, flooding his Instagram comments section with their heartfelt messages as he continues the fight that began all the way back in 2017 for the 35-year-old. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Go Johnny!!! "Cherish life": Tears over Johnny Ruffo’s latest heartfelt advice

<p>Johnny Ruffo has shared his words of wisdom on living life to the fullest as he continues his brave fight against a terminal brain cancer diagnosis. </p> <p>The singer and former actor, best known for his time on <em>The X Factor</em> and <em>Home and Away</em>, was chatting to the hosts of the <em>Kicpod </em>podcast when he divulged his life philosophies. </p> <p>Johnny’s top tip? “Don’t sweat the small things”. </p> <p>“Cherish life,” he told fitness influencers Steph Claire Smith and Lauren Henshaw. “Don’t sweat the small things and make sure the last conversation you have with people that you love is a good one.”</p> <p>Expanding on that, Johnny explained that he never leaves a conversation with his partner, Tahnee Sims, on a negative note. </p> <p>“You know, I may have a seizure, or something might happen,” he said. “And I just want her to know that the last thing she spoke to me about was that I loved her.</p> <p>“Every time Tahnee and I leave one another... I always tell her I love her.”</p> <p>Johnny was first diagnosed in 2017, and revealed in 2022 that the cancer was terminal. The couple have been together since 2015, and Tahnee has been at his side throughout his ongoing treatment. Johnny has been no stranger to praise for his partner, and her continued devotion and bravery in the face of the fight against cancer. .</p> <p>Last year, Johnny spoke to <em>Now to Love</em>, where he declared that Tahnee was his “everything”. Throughout the interview, he stressed that they were a team in life and all that comes with it. </p> <p>"I'd be lost without her," he said. "She's just everything.</p> <p>"She comes home from work and she's probably so tired and just wants to have a break, and then she has me. She wants to try and make me smile.</p> <p>"I don't know how she does it. I really don't.”</p> <p><em>Kicpod</em> Lauren was brought to tears by Johnny’s tribute, and both agreed that he has a “beautiful outlook on life”.</p> <p>Johnny, who by all accounts lives by his own heartfelt advice, has spent the past few months with friends and loved ones, enjoying some of Australia’s stunning scenery. </p> <p>Over Christmas, the couple made their way back to Western Australia to see Johnny’s family, and to enjoy the sun on Rottnest Island. </p> <p>Last month, Johnny celebrated friend and former co-star Lynne McGranger’s 70th birthday in Sydney. <p>Johnny Ruffo has teased a possible return to beloved Aussie soap, Home and Away.</p> <p>The 34-year-old who is suffering from brain cancer, shot to fame on the popular series in 2013, playing Chris Harrington.</p> <p>On Thursday, Johnny told Yahoo that he would like to return to Summer Bay in a cameo.</p> <p>The actor and X-Factor star said he has retained a strong friendship with his former Home and Away cast mates, especially Lynne MacGranger, 69, who plays Irene Roberts on the long-running show.</p> <p>Johnny told the publication he has a great relationship with Lynne both on and off-screen, describing the actress as a "really good friend".</p> <p>Johnny said if he did return to Home and Away, he wants Lynne's character - who runs the local cafe - to feature.</p> <p>"[I would just waltz in] and order a coffee," Johnny said, describing his idea for a "come back scene".</p> <p>"And Lynne - I mean Irene - would be like...Chris!"</p> <p>Johnny revealed his prognosis as terminal earlier, only a few short months ago now and said he doesn't want the diagnosis to slow down anything in his life anymore.</p> <p><em>Image: Network 10 </em></p>

<p>Johnny Ruffo has hinted at the possibility of wedding bells with his partner Tahnee Sims.</p> <p>The former X-factor star and Home and Away actor has terminal brain cancer and says he is “so lucky” to have Tahnee by his side as he undergoes treatment.</p> <p>Ruffo has revealed that Sims has given him major hints about a possible engagement.</p> <p>“She’s definitely given me the hint about, you know, getting engaged,” he told Yahoo Australia.</p> <p>“Ooh, I like this ring and I like that one”.</p> <p>“So I think that might be on the cards maybe. Ruffo first learned he had a brain tumour in 2017, but he was declared cancer free in 2019.</p> <p>In November 2020, he made the devastating announcement that his cancer had returned, and in August 2022 he was told his cancer was terminal.</p> <p><em>Image: Instagram</em></p>
