Nine.com.au reports one striking element of the photo of the newly-anointed Duke and Duchess of Sussex was the gilded mahogany sofa, upholstered with green silk damask.
This piece also features in one of the most famous photos of the royal family from Princess Diana’s time, where the people’s princess holds Prince Harry while watching Prince William delight the royal family with his toddler moves.
This gorgeous piece of furniture was made in 1827.
