Read these five books before you see the film
There is a great range of films being released this year that are all adapted from some terrific novels. Here we give you five that we recommend you read before you go and see it on the big screen.
1. Me Before You – Jojo Moyes
Sam Claflin (Hunger Games) stars as Will, a globe trotting extreme sportsman who becomes a quadriplegic after an accident. Louisa (Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones) loses her job and ends up taking the temporary position assisting him. Over time a friendship develops as they find themselves being able to help each other.

2. Inferno – Dan Brown
Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code series continues with Tom Hanks starring once again as Robert Langdon. The Harvard professor’s latest adventure sees him unlocking another puzzle by following clues in Dante's The Divine Comedy.

3. The BFG – Roald Dahl
Steven Spielberg directs the big-screen adaptation of the children’s classic novel, where a young child makes friends with a giant. Set in London, Sophie and the BFG try to stop the other monsters from eating small children.
Starring: Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement, Ruby Barnhill, Rebecca Hall

4. The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins
Emily Blunt (from The Devil Wears Prada) stars as Rachel, a divorcee with an alcohol problem who makes up stories about a couple she sees each day on her morning commute. When she witnesses something life-threatening, she decides to report it to the police in order to uncover the truth. Already being compared with Gone Girl, this is a thriller not to be missed.

5. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – Newt Scamander (J.K. Rowling)
This prequel to the Harry Potter series is written by the fictional Newt Scamander, and is the textbook that the students at Hogwarts study from. Set to be a trilogy, it follows the adventures of Newt in the secret New York world of witches and wizards, 70 years before Harry reads the textbook at school.
Starring: Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell.
