How Halle Berry has the body of a 25-year-old at 51
She’s one of the most bankable Hollywood stars and at 51, Halle Berry is not slowing down anytime soon.
So how has she maintained her longevity in such a fickle industry? According to her personal trainer, Peter Lee Thomas, Berry keeps a strict commitment to fitness and healthy eating that keeps her looking as good as she did in her 20s.
“I had no idea what her age was when I met her,” Thomas says in an interview with People.
“I never looked or was interested in that, and when I found out, I was absolutely shell-shocked because she has the discipline and athleticism of a 25-year-old.”
With Berry’s work ethic when it comes to her health and fitness, Thomas decided to up the ante of her workouts by tenfold.
Berry trains five days a week, doing a combination of martial arts, boxing, yoga and “a lot of military training [like] the navy Seals would do.”
“I bring a constellation of things,” he said. “That, in itself, is quite challenging because she has to be ready almost on improv. It can break a lot of people, who don’t see the workout the day prior.”
Berry also follows the popular keto diet to ensure she’s eating well.
