Unseen Beatles footage to feature in new docu-series

A new documentary will contain previously unseen footage of The Beatles towards the end of their time as a band which will present a different take on the creation of their final studio album Let It Be.

Originally intended as a film, The Beatles: Get Back has become a three-part documentary that follows the group as they worked, recorded, and prepared for their final rooftop performance.

In the latest extended trailer, the British stars can be seen workshopping songs and messing around in the studio, as well as discussing the group’s imminent break-up.

The trailer also reveals footage surrounding the departure of George Harrison and the planning they undertook for their final Savile Row concert.

Get Back, directed by Peter Jackson, sees the archived footage undergo the same restoration treatment used in his WWI project They Shall Not Grow Old, giving it a vibrant hue.

The documentary is due to premiere on Disney Plus across three consecutive nights, starting on November 25.
