Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias share first photos of newborn twins
Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias are known for keeping their private life private, but with a couple of new photos, they’ve given us a rare glimpse into their lives as new parents.
The 36-year-old former tennis champ and 42-year-old Latin pop star secretly welcomed twins, a boy and a girl reportedly named Nicholas and Lucy, in December. Now, with two photos captioned on Instagram as “My sunshine,” the genetically-blessed couple have introduced their bundles of joy to the world. Scroll through the gallery above to see them.
The adorable bubs are the first for both Kournikova and Iglesias, who met in 2001 when the sports star starred in Iglesias’ music video for Escape and have been together since 2003.
Hinting at their baby plans more than 10 years ago, Iglesias said his then-girlfriend would make the “ideal mother”, telling People in 2007, “I think she’d be the perfect mother, and I say it regardless of whether I’d be with her or not.”
