Rogue employee hides furious remark in daily weather report – can you spot it?
A rogue Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) worker has slipped a cryptic message inside a daily weather report.
As staff at the government-run weather service negotiate better pay conditions and allowances, staff are sending cryptic messages hidden in their weather reports.
The Community and Public Sector Union said BOM staff have failed to have a pay rise to keep up with inflation or the cost of living expenses. In response, staff are using hashtags such as #BOMonSTRIKE and #fiveyearpayfreeze on social media to protest the situation.
According to PerthNow, the negotiations have dragged on since February.
