Sam Armytage slams ruthless paparazzi
Sam Armytage has lashed out at the paparazzi, claiming the “b*stard” paps are going to desperate lengths to take a photo of the Sunrise co-host at the beach.
Armytage has reportedly noticed multiple paparazzi lurking around the area, but when she spotted a drone flying overhead she decided to draw a line in the sand.
The 41-year-old is now so sick of the paparazzi hounding her when she’s trying to enjoy her downtime, she’s taken to social media to fight back.
“Lovely, quiet, relaxing Sunday swimming with friends ... & 4 paparazzi & a drone. Bastards,” she wrote overnight.
“Trying to ruin my weekend bliss & make money from pics of me in my swimmers.
“Well here’s one for free #pissOffPaps.”
This isn’t the first time Armytage has lashed out at the media for focusing on her personal life, lashing out last year in an interview with Queensland “hot cop” Mason Jago.
“I’m one of the country’s senior female journalists. I host a fast-moving, wideranging, top-rating, 4-hour daily breakfast program ... I have minors in American Politics & PR / marketing ... So if you ever want to ask me any intelligent questions (including but not limited to; our politicians’ citizenship, the state of the Australian cricket team, beef prices ...) I’d be happy to answer them,” she wrote last August.
What are your thoughts? Should the paparazzi just leave her alone?
