Carrie Bickmore’s racy comment leaves Waleed Aly speechless
Carrie Bickmore left co-host Waleed Aly blushing and lost for words after making a racy confession on last night’s The Project.
It started with a live cross to Lisa Wilkinson, who is in the UK covering the royal wedding, on Wednesday night’s episode.
“The merch on the ground here is unbelievable, you guys haven’t actually told me what you want yet,” Lisa said about the plethora of souvenirs of the royal wedding.
“I’ll have a tea towel,” Carrie said, before Lisa revealed she had already picked out her souvenir.
“I’m getting you that fabulous one-piece with Harry and his beard,” the former Today host said.
Carrie quickly quipped back: “Yeah, that will be the first time I’ve had hair down there in a while.”
It was a comment that appeared to leave Waleed blindsided, whose eyes widened as he looked around speechless.
“God, I love you, Carrie. I love you,” Lisa replied. “Have fun over there. I’m sure Pete would like one of those swimsuits.”
