Duchess Meghan’s “husband” shares photographs before her royal life
It’s been two years since Duchess Meghan quit popular legal drama TV show Suits to marry Prince Harry and become a full time royal.
Fans have been given an intimate glimpse of her relationship with her friends and former co-stars thanks to the royal’s “husband”, Patrick J. Adams.
Adams played the 38-year-old’s love interest, Mike Ross, for seven seasons.
In a bittersweet celebration of the tenth season of Suits he shared a series of photographs onto his Instagram account ahead of the season finale.
"This week the last episode of Suits will air and the nearly 10-year journey we've all been on together will finally be over," he captioned a snap of himself wearing a suit.
"So, it seems right to post some photos the next couple of days from the early days. This photo was from the first fitting I ever had for Mike Ross."
One of the first posts featured Duchess Meghan wearing her character’s signature office attire - a high-waisted skirt and crisp shirt.
Adam’s has shared a number of candid posts of his former co-star over the years - from the Duchess in robes and stilettos to nostalgic snaps of her in a full work uniform.
Back in 2017, Prince Harry and the royal sat for their first interview as a couple and discussed her decision to quit the show.
"I see it as a new change, a new chapter," she said.
"I've been working on my show (for) seven years, we were so fortunate to have that longevity, and I feel like I checked that box and am very proud of the work I've done there."
The final episode of Suits will air in the US on Wednesday, while Duchess Meghan continues her 10-day tour of South Africa with her husband and their four-month-old son, Archie.
