“Finally”: What it took to get Ally to walk out on Karl
Karl Stefanovic's on-air antics have sent co-host Ally Langdon walking off set, live on the Today Show.
Today newsreader Alex Cullen had just read a piece on a Liberal supporter impersonating a kookaburra at a campaign event for Treasurer Josh Frydenberg.
Karl then convinced Alex to try his own version of a kookaburra laugh, with the cringing expression on Ally's face speaking volumes about what she thought of it.
However, it wasn't until Karl tried to top Alex's impression that Ally got out of her chair and walked off stage.
"Finally! Finally, it took a kookaburra to get rid of her," laughed Karl.
Ally was a good sport and came back to join her co-hosts, telling them: "I am not leaving."
We all know Karl is prone to the dramatic walk-off – especially where Ally is involved. We can think of three prominent occasions: one Twitter-related; one snake-related, and one weight-related.
