Grant Denyer bounces back with big announcement
Gold Logie nominee Grant Denyer didn’t seem too fussed when his game show Family Feud was axed – and now we know why.
He has just been announced as the host of Channel 10’s new show Game of Games, based on the successful American series hosted by Ellen De Generes.
“Ellen is an idol of mine, so to land this opportunity makes me so excited I’m dizzy,” Denyer said.
“It’s wildly fun and something completely brand new and different for Australia.”
“I can’t wait to step on set and run amok with this.”

On Game of Games contestants undertake “ridiculous challenges” for big cash prizes. The contestants answer questions under time pressure, manoeuvre massive obstacles and face a plunge into the unknown to win.
Ten is building the biggest set it has ever constructed for the hour-long show.
Ten axed Family Feud last month after four years amid falling ratings.
