Larry Emdur celebrates 500 episodes on The Chase
Larry Emdur has celebrated a special milestone after filming his 500th episode on The Chase Australia.
Since stepping into the role in 2021, the beloved TV host has become a fan favourite.
Emdur took to Instagram to share a series of photos commemorating the moment, which included a special tribute to viewers.
“I recorded my 500th episode of The Chase today and the crew threw me a party but honestly I should’ve thrown one for them,” he wrote, alongside a photo of a cake adorned with the message "500 fabulous episodes".
He also shared a few photos of the crew congratulating him for the special achievement.
“So much work goes into this show behind the scenes, these guys and girls are incredible. Thank you for all your support , thank you for the cake and special thanks for my red carpet (towel🤣🤞🤞).
“And of course if you watch The Chase thank YOU for making us part of your evenings.”
Fans were quick to shower Emdur with messages of congratulations.
“Wow man that went quick! Well deserved mate. Def bought it up several notches.” one wrote.

It's been quite the year for the beloved TV host, who recently won his first ever Gold Logie award after over 30 years on Aussie screens, followed by him getting the names of the other nominees tattooed on his bum live on-air because he pledged to do so if he won.
