Larry Emdur reveals priceless story behind photo with Naomi Watts
As coronavirus cancelled the 2020 Logies, The Morning Show host Larry Emdur thought he'd post a throwback photo instead.
The picture delighted fans as it featured a pre-Hollywood fame Naomi Watts.
With his well-known self-depreciating humour, Edmur joked that the pair's careers had taken very different paths after the photo was taken.
He wrote: "Because it was meant to be Logies night, here's a Logies quiz. One of these people went on to be a duel Oscar nominee and a magnificent multi-award winning superstar of the big and small screen.
"The other went on to host Celebrity Dog School and have his image used in a FAKE Facebook ad for an erectile dysfunction cure. Can you pick it?
"I understand this is a tricky question so I'll give you 24 hours to lodge your answer and your time starts... now! Hello @naomiwatts from 1992."
Watts went onto bigger things after her appearance at the Logies almost thirty years ago as she scored her breakthrough role in 2001 psychological thriller Mulholland Drive.
Watts went onto be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress twice in 21 Grams (2003) and The Impossible (2012).
Emdur has achieved fame on a domestic level as he fronted The Price is Right from 1993 to 1998 and later 2003 and 2005 on Nine. He is currently the co-anchor of Channel Seven's The Morning Show alongside Kylie Gillies.
