DO YOU KNOW THESE MEN? Police call on the public for help

Victorian Police have turned to the members of the public for help as they attempt to identify several men who attend a violent protest in Melbourne.

The anti-lockdown protests were carried out in mid-September, and were attended by more than 500 people, most of whom were maskless.

The protesters descended onto the Melbourne suburbs of Richmond, Kew and Burnley, as the protests quickly turned violent.

Dozens of people ran at police in a clash that saw officers knocked to the ground and protesters doused with capsicum spray.

Out of the people who attended, 235 were arrested, most for breaching health directions, but some were charged with assault, riotous behaviour and weapons and drug offences.

Ten police officers were injured during the protest, with injuries including a broken elbow and broken nose after bottles and stones were thrown.

On Thursday, a 21-year-old man from Brunswick West was arrested in relation to an alleged assault of a police officer.

Police have released images of 10 men who were present at the protests, that officers would like to speak to in relation to a series of incidents at the protest.
