Do you know this Grinch? Christmas thief caught on camera
A Perth family has been left disappointed and upset after a Grinch stole their Christmas presents.
Sophie Lush-Newman got a notification that the security camera at her Aveley home, in Perth’s northern suburbs, had been triggered.
Upon taking a look, she saw a thief covering parts of his face with a jumper as he rode off with $300 worth of Christmas gifts on his bike.
The mother was triggered by the unfortunate events which has left her family terrified.
“My daughter couldn’t sleep that night or the night after it. We had to have all the doors open so she could hear us,” the mum told 7News.
Families have been warned to keep an eye on their deliveries as the festive season approaches.
Another warning for families is to be wary of texts informing them that their packages have been delivered as links could be a scam.
