Emoji number plates are on their way!
Always wanted to nab yourself a personalised number plate but didn’t want it to be too obvious? Well, there’s good news.
From March 1, those residing in Queensland will be able to add fun emoji characters to their licence plate, which will not only brighten up a dreary plate, but will also guarantee a smile on anyone who comes across it.

To start off with, motorists will have the choice between five emojis – the laughing face, winking face, heart-eyes face, sunnies face, and a standard smiling face.
But it doesn’t come cheap, as one emoji plate will set you back $500.
