The one road rule that is costing drivers demerit points

More and more drivers are being caught out by a simple road rule, and it’s losing them money AND demerit points – and chances are you’ve seen it broken countless times.

According to NSW law, all drivers must indicate before exiting a roundabout no matter which way they’re turning – even if you’re going straight.

If you’re caught breaking this commonly-ignored road rule, you will be fined around $180 and face losing two demerit points.

Surprised? Brush up on your roundabout road skills here and tell us in the comments below, have you broken this rule before?
