"Where are the cats?" Woman bound in bizarre attack at dog's home

A woman is dealing with a bizarre attack from Monday night after a masked, armed robber in military clothes, held her at gunpoint.

The robber demanded to know where her cats were while he tied her up and threatened her life, in Cranbourne West.

The woman, who is a lost dog’s home employee, was approached by the offender in the car park of the Thompsons Road home in Cranbourne West, Victoria about 11.30 pm on Monday when he pointed a gun at her.

He asked where the cats were after walking her into the animal welfare property and tying her up.

He quickly left the room and didn’t return.

The woman was able to free herself and phoned for help.

Thankfully, she was not injured during the strange and traumatising incident.

Police have been unable to locate the man, who was reportedly dressed in military style clothes and was wearing a mask.
