Did you know about this Coles BBQ chicken hack?

While they’ve recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons, a supermarket roast chicken is still probably the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to feed the family these days. $8 might not seem like a lot to pay for tomorrow’s dinner, but if you follow the secret supermarket hack in today’s article you won’t be paying anything at all

A woman shopping at her local Coles this week was disappointed when she visited the supermarket and discovered the roast chooks had already sold out.

“My face dropped when there were no chickens left as I’d have to cook something. A Coles member saw my disappointment and pointed to the chicken hot bar sign.”

She then discovered a sign posted by the supermarket, which read, “If you’ve missed out on a Coles hot roast chicken from 11am until close your next one is FREE.”

After discovering this hack she shared the news on Facebook.

“I had no idea they did that. Thanks Mr Coles staff member. No cooking tomorrow,” she wrote alongside the images.

The voucher does expire the next day however.
