Sydney woman finds something revolting in bag of Woolies cashews
Protein is an important part of any diet, but only when you’re expecting it. A Sydney woman almost inadvertently had an extra dose in the most unwelcome way, when she noticed a worm in a bag of cashews nut from her local Woolies.
The woman, who received the bag from her local Woolworths supermarket after making the purchase online, filmed a video showing her shocking discovery.
“I opened a packet of Woolworth’s brand roasted cashew nuts only to find worms inside. They weren’t to expire until next year,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“I contacted the company about it and all they offered was a full refund of 4 dollars which I found almost equally as shocking.”
The Sydney shopper claims she was lucky she was eating the bag herself, and not sharing it with her children.
Woolies has reportedly offered her a refund.
