Duchess Kate’s secret to glowing skin
The Duchess of Cambridge always looks stunning whether she is going to a prestigious event or having some quiet time with her family.
Kate manages to maintain flawless skin and although she has access to top-end skincare products, her makeup artist claims that a face washer is what achieves her dewy skin.
Arabella Preston, who taught the Duchess how to do her makeup for her wedding day, has shared that a face washer is an essential item in her skincare regime.
Arabella told Kathleen Hou at The Cut, “It's all about the flannel and it's quite necessary.”
“More gentle than any motorised cleanser brush, the right flannel will allow you to cleanly wipe makeup and dirt from your skin and gently exfoliate.”
Arabella gave Kate makeup lessons before her wedding in 2011 and her other high-profile clients include Daisy Lowe and Lily James.
The Duchess of Cambridge did her own makeup for her big day despite having two billion eyes on her as she wed Prince William.
As well as using a face washer, Kate is said to be a fan of applying rosehip oil to her skin.
US Weekly reported that Kate applied rosehip oil onto her skin while she was carrying Princess Charlotte.
“Kate is very cautious of products and treatments,” a source told the magazine. “Baby's health comes first.”
“Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan.”
