Michelle Bridges & Commando’s son is already following in their footsteps!

It seems former The Biggest Loser coach Steve “Commando” Willis has a little mini-me on his hands! Speaking to BW Magazine, the 41-year-old opened up about how his fitness habits are already rubbing off on his kids, even his son with partner Michelle Bridges, two-year-old son Axel.

“They see what I do as the norm, we all exercise. My little one, Axel, is two and he picks up the empty clingfilm cardboard roll and pretends it’s a barbell and he’ll do squats and burpees as well.”

But it’s Ella, his nine-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, who’s really taking after her ultra-fit dad. “Ella is really like a mini female version of me. If she could fit more activity into her day, she would – she wants to give everything a go.”

It’s not surprising given Commando’s passion for health and fitness, which he shares with celeb personal trainer Michelle. But last year, as they celebrated Axel’s first birthday, some questioned whether they were imposing their strict diet on their son too early, after Michelle revealed she had to “wrestle” Axel to the ground after he was given a sugar-laden cookie by his babysitter.

Instead, the family celebrated with a carrot cake which Michelle described as “borderline healthy”.
