Final photo of Shane Warne emerges

A close friend of Shane Warne has shared the final photo taken while the cricket legend was still alive.

Thomas Hall shared a photo taken of Warne in Koh Samui, Thailand, hours before he died of a heart attack.

It comes as the Warne family has shared their anger over photos being taken of the cricketer’s body, as well as a potential security breach.

According to the ABC, a German woman carrying flowers was able to enter the ambulance carrying Warne’s body and spent over half a minute alone inside.

After investigating the incident, which was captured on camera, Thai authorities said they wouldn’t be charging the unknown woman after they found she didn’t break the law.

“I am a big fan of him,” she later told the ABC.

“I am sorry about yesterday but I [did] not mean [any] negative act by that. I am a big fan, he is a great player.”

Hall shared more details from Warnie’s final few days with Sporting News, including his final meal of Vegemite on toast.

“What a player. What a man. The word legend is used too lightly these days, but he is and always will be a legend. He is simply the best,” Hall wrote.

“Keith, Brooke, Jacko, Summer, I am so sorry for your loss and will see you soon.”
