Jerry Lewis rushed to hospital
It has been confirmed that legendary comedian Jerry Lewis was taken to hospital on Friday after developing a serious urinary tract infection.
The 91-year-old remained in the Las Vegas hospital over the weekend, with his publicist Candi Cazau revealing he has been treated with antibiotics and is expected to be released shortly.
Lewis has experienced a number of health scares over the year, having been hospitalised in 2011 for exhaustion and 2012 for hypoglycaemia.
Despite the latest hiccup, the star, who appeared in many movies with actor Dean Martin, is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he’s set to travel to Toronto this week to work on a movie.
We wish him all the best in his recovery.
