John Farnham’s happy health update
John Farnham’s family have shared a positive health update following the singer’s re-hospitalisation in late March.
In a statement released on Monday, Farnham’s family shared that he has made a “full recovery” from the serious chest infection.
"We're pleased to say that John made a full recovery from a recent chest infection in late March which required hospitalisation," his wife Jill, and sons Robert and James shared.
"He is now comfortable and continues to receive ongoing treatment and rehabilitation care.
"The family would like to re-iterate their appreciation and deepest respect for all the medical staff that have attended to John over the past eight months and the many thousands of kind messages that (have) been received from across Australia and the world."
When the 73-year-old was taken to hospital in March, he had just undergone a gruelling 12-hour surgery to remove a cancerous growth in his mouth seven months prior.
His family have consistently shared updates on his health and how proud they are of Farnham’s resilience and strength.
