The heartfelt reason Katherine Kelly Lang is going into the jungle
Katherine Kelly Lang is known for her iconic role on The Bold and The Beautiful as Brooke Logan, a role she has played for almost 32 years, after her character's debut in March 1987.
However, going onto I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is something that the 57-year-old has wanted to do for a number of years now.
"We've been talking to the production [of the show] for years now," the actress explained to TV WEEK.
"And it finally worked, with The Bold And The Beautiful letting me out for some time to go and do it.
"One of the main reasons [for doing the show] was the opportunity to win, hopefully, the grand prize for my charity."

Lang’s chosen charity is Breakaway from Cancer. The organisation is close to her heart as her father passed away from cancer when she was just 13 years old. The TV star also lost three of her grandparents to the devastating disease.
"I never understood when my dad died," Lang shared.
"It happened fast and we found out too late. There wasn't much we could do, but it seemed like nobody could do anything to help.
"That was really frustrating."

Breakaway from Cancer was founded in 2005 and has amassed a variety of celebrity ambassadors since, including mother-of-three Lang. The initiative aims to increase awareness of important resources that are available to people affected by cancer.
