Woolies makes huge RAT announcement for those in need

Woolworths says it has significantly improved its supply of Rapid Antigen Tests in stores. Hundreds of thousands of new kits are set to be available now in stores across the country.

The retail giant says it has sufficient supply to meet forecasted customer demand across the month of February as further stock is expected in the coming weeks.

Woolworths Commercial Director for Everyday Needs James Hepworth said the supermarket is now sending daily shipments to stores.

“Our team has been working hard to improve stock levels of rapid antigen tests in response to high community demand for them,” Mr Hepworth said.

“With larger orders coming into our distribution centres, we’re now able to send daily shipments to our stores.

“We currently have three times as much stock as during the recent peak in demand and will double that volume again by next week.”

Rapid Antigen Tests are available at Woolworths service desks and to order for pickup or home delivery. Pack sizes vary from a single test to a seven pack. Pricing remains consistent since becoming available in woolies in 2021. The limit remains as two packets per customer.
