Fashion Queen! Duchess Kate's sweet surprise for school kids

The ever-fashionable Duchess Kate surprised a group of local school kids on Tuesday during a visit to the National History Museum in London.

Kate, who is never short on producing a classy royal get-up, was pictured looking dressed-down and chic while meeting with kids to partake in nature activities including spider-making, interactive story-telling and fun exercise in the Wildlife Garden of the museum.

"I'm going to call my spider 'cuddles'," Kate joked with the kids as they made their spiders.

The royal, who is a mum of three herself, even pulled out a sweet treat for the children to taste from – a pot of honey made from the bees that live at the Cambridges country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.

"Would you like to try some?" the Duchess asked the kids.

"I've got one spoon each. This came specially from my beehive.

"See if it tastes the same as at home. Does it taste like honey from the shops? Does it taste like flowers?"

The 39-year-old may have chosen a casual outfit for the special day out, but she still looked as regal as ever in straight cut blue jeans, a $3630 gathered grain de poudre wool Chloé blazer and Vega trainers.
