More Samantha Armytage wedding details revealed: Who was invited?
Samantha Armytage and Richard Lavender said their “I do’s” on New Years Eve – news that surprised even the most loyal fans.
However no one was more taken aback than her work colleagues.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and travel bans, Sam and Richard were forced to make their wedding guest list much smaller than anticipated but it seemed to suit the two just fine. Woman’s Day reports Sam kept her nuptials top secret, leaving her colleagues feeling “miffed”.
"There were a few dropped jaws among the Sunrise crew when they first discovered the wedding was indeed taking place on New Year's Eve – the following day," the tabloid wrote.
"Natalie Barr, Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies were noticeably missing, Kochie was in coronavirus lockdown on the Northern Beaches, long-time Sunrise producer Michael Pell was in Queensland holidaying, Mark Beretta and Edwina Bartholomew were on the Sunrise desk on New Year's Day so they couldn't be there... the list goes on," an inside told the magazine.
"Even Sam Mac, who Richard is a big fan of, wasn't there on the big day."
The pair had a handful of guests to watch them commit to their love, on Richard’s 40-hectare property.
