Pipped at the post: Queen loses mantle of most popular royal
Queen Elizabeth II might be the world's longest-reigning monarch, but according to a new survey, she isn't the most popular royal.
A survey conducted by a British based marketing company called YouGov polled 1,486 people and asked them who their favourite royal family member was.
Prince William took out the top spot, with 75 per cent thinking he's the most popular and most famous royal family member.
The Queen took out the second spot with 73 per cent, and Prince William's wife, the Duchess of Cambridge was in third with a 67 per cent popularity rating.
Meghan and Harry's popularity amongst the groups surveyed had dropped dramatically, with Meghan having a 32 per cent positive opinion and Prince Harry having a 41 per cent positive opinion amongst the groups.
According to the data, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is more popular than the Duchess of Sussex who has a 40 per cent negative opinion rate.
The rankings were different among the age groups, with millennials saying they preferred the Queen but liked Prince William and Duchess Kate a lot more.
Baby Boomers had the same rankings as Millennials, but every generation surveyed said that Prince Andrew was the least popular royal as he was caught up in the Epstein controversy.
