The Red Wiggle, known as Simon Pryce, has announced that his partner Lauren Hannaford is expecting a child.

“Lauren and I are beyond excited and overjoyed to be expecting our first baby in early 2021,” he wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday.

“I already feel like I’m bursting with love.”

Pryce joked that his partner would be “happy when it’s born” so he would “stop talking to her stomach, especially when we are in the supermarket aisle”.

“Happy Father’s Day to me. Well not quite yet but soon,” he added.

Hannaford also shared the news with her 40,000+ followers, writing: “We love you so much already little one, and seeing the excitement pouring out of Simon absolutely melts my heart.”
