Former Yellow Wiggle hints at new character
It's been three months since Emma Watkins announced she was leaving The Wiggles and said goodbye to her well-loved character along with her iconic yellow bow.
However fans might not have to wait too much longer to see Emma perform again - with the dancer making a series of cryptic Instagram posts hinting she will be launching a character named 'Emma Memma'.
"Roses are red, and can be pink too. I can't wait to share Emma Memma with you…," Watkins captioned a bare tile she posted online this week following it up with a change in her profile name to @emmamemmaemma.
The children's entertainer also flooding her feed with the colour orange suggesting a big change from her signature yellow.
Over the past four weeks Watkins has been posting orange and pink tiles onto her Instagram profile with a series of orange emojis.
Although she hasn't yet given too much detail on who 'Emma Memma' is, she did caption a follow-up post with: "She loves to tell stories, in sign, dance and song. So join Emma Memma. Yes, do come along…"
She told another fan: "I've got some very excited things I am working on"
Watkins also confirmed the orange colour across her profile is a definite hint to her next project - meaning the iconic yellow has officially been replaced.
Emma unexpectedly announced she was leaving The Wiggles after ten years with the group in October 2021 saying she wanted to pursue other projects.
