Michael Clarke’s 2-year-old daughter rushed to hospital
Being a parent can be tough at the best of times, but when something’s not quite right with your little one, it can be utterly heartbreaking, as cricket legend Michael Clarke and wife Kyly discovered last week.
The 36-year-old Aussie sports star took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of his two girls lying in a hospital bed, captioned, “It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. One very sick little girl and one very worried Mumma.”
Thankfully, Clarke had some good news for his followers the next day, writing, “My little princess is on the mend. It’s amazing what a few red frogs can do.”
Sadly, Michael and Kyly are no stranger to health concerns when it comes to their little girl, now two years old. Last July, in an interview with Stellar magazine, Kyly expressed concern about Kelsey’s time in an incubator.
“There’s always this underlying concern,” she admitted. “Is this going to affect her as she grows? Michael and I have been lucky enough that Kelsey Lee has grown into a healthy and happy child. But that’s not always the circumstance for a lot of parents.”
We wish Kelsey Lee a very speedy recovery!
