Prince William reveals what George and Charlotte got up to during school break

The Cambridge children have the luxury of living in the heart of London and returning to the peaceful countryside, and it seems their parents are doing everything they can to teach their kids about living on the land.

Prince William recently revealed he and wife Kate had introduced their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – to lambing.

Lambing is when female sheep give birth to their young.

“We’ve been lambing with the children this week,” said Prince William.

“Charlotte wasn’t sure at first but George was straight in there. Louis loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs.”

During the mid-term break, the Cambridge children visited their country home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk during the mid-term break.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge regularly return to their estate when they have free time or when the children are on school holidays.

William spoke about his children’s activities while visiting the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, where he was there to watch Wales take on France in the 6 Nations rugby, over the weekend.

Before the match, William met injured players who are supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, which helps those who have been severely injured whilst playing the sport.

One of those people include Rhian Roberts, a primary school teacher who hurt her neck during a tackle.

“We were talking about the land where he was and the land where we are, which is a mining area,” said Ms Roberts. “He said they’ve been lambing this week up in Norfolk. They want the children to see the country way of life as well as the city way of life.”
