Princess Anne’s special day out with her grandchildren

Princess Anne has been seen enjoying a special day out with her two grandchildren, Mia, five, and Savannah, eight.

The two royal grandkids were spotted frolicking and spending time together as Mia piggybacked her cousin Savannah.

The young girls spent their time running around the field and eating ice cream while 37-year-old Zara Phillips– Princess Anne's daughter and Mia's mum – who is a competitive horse rider, competed in the Land Rover Horse Trials in Gloucestershire.

The Phillips children, including nine-month-old Lena, have no royal titles as Princess Anne, 68, decided against giving her own children titles despite being offered by the Monarch.

Peter, the Queen’s eldest grandchild, having no title means one was not given to any of his children.

Although the family live very much outside of the spotlight, paparazzi manage to shoot the young children from time to time.

Savannah, the eldest daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips, and the eldest great granddaughter of the Queen, is 15th in line to the throne but will drop to 16th when Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's baby Sussex arrives.

Much like Princess Anne’s children, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not giving a title to their first child either, who is expected to arrive next month.
