Touching name for Barry Hall and Lauren Brant's new baby

Lauren Brant and her husband, AFL legend Barry Hall, have welcomed a baby boy into the world four months after revealing on A Current Affair they were expecting their third child amid heartbreaking loss.
The couple sat down with A Current Affair’s Leila McKinnon in June to reveal they secretly tied the knot in February as Lauren’s sister-in-law, Sandra Brant, bravely fought bowel cancer.
Two weeks after the wedding, Sandra passed away, but not before Lauren and Barry shared with her the news that their third son was due in October.
The couple took to Instagram over the weekend to announce the arrival of Samson Andy Hall on October 26th, with Lauren saying, “we have been in a complete love bubble of newborn smells, noises, kisses and cuddles”.
“Miller and Houston are besotted with their baby brother and our hearts are just so full,” the former Hi-5 star said in the heartfelt post, alongside photos of their new baby boy.
Barry took to his Instagram page, saying “he is just perfect and his brothers love him so much. Well, a little too much, they absolutely maul him with kisses and cuddles”.
“Samson’s name has a deep meaning to our family. He will be aware of the meaning in good time, and I’m sure honour the name and give us all such joy, as he has already started doing.”
Samson’s middle name, Andy, is both in honour of Barry, whose middle name is Andrew, and a special tribute to Sandy: when written with his first initial, it reads S.Andy.
