A fan favourite couple from the 2023 season of Farmer Wants a Wife have announced some heartwarming family news.
Brad Jones and Clare Hockings took to Instagram to announce the birth of their first child together.
“Roy Grahame Jones has arrived,” Brad, 32, wrote in the caption.
Their announcement was flooded with well wishes for the new parents and baby Roy, with the post racking up almost 10,000 likes.
Their fellow Farmer Wants a Wife contestant David McMahon shared a comment for the couple, writing, "Very happy for you both! Welcome to the world Master Jones."
The couple first announced their pregnancy in June, just one month after the show finished airing.
At the time, Clare, 28, posted a picture of herself with Brad on their Cootamundra farm, showcasing a pair of baby booties resting on top of a saddle.
“We’re so excited to meet our newest little farm hand!” the excited mum-to-be said in the caption.
“Baby Jones due December.”
Brad opened up about the surprise pregnancy in New Idea at the time, admitting they “didn’t think it would happen as quick as it did”.
Despite the news of their growing family coming as a shock to the couple, starting a family was always on the cards for the couple, as they told 7Life shortly after the series ended that they were
"ready to settle down".
