Baked honey almond peaches
Delicious when served with ice-cream, you have to try these baked honey and almond peaches.
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 peaches, halved and pitted
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons of honey
- 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
- A hand full of sliced almonds
Method:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Place peaches skin side down in a baking dish.
- Fill each peach with brown sugar, cinnamon, and almonds and top with honey.
- Fill the baking dish one to two-centimetres deep with water.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until peaches begin to brown.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
