Berry sorbet
With warm weather around the corner, this cool treat will help you beat the heat all summer.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of lime juice
- 2 tablespoons of grenadine syrup
- 300g of frozen raspberries, thawed
- 1 pack of frozen strawberries, thawed
Method:
1. Bring lime juice and grenadine to a boil in a saucepan over moderate heat.
2. Cook for one minute.
3. In a processor, puree raspberries and strawberries together.
4. Press through a sieve, removing the seeds.
5. In a bowl, mix syrup and puree together.
6. Freeze for two hours. Remove and beat mixture until smooth.
7. Refreeze for an additional 45 minutes and beat again.
8. Freeze for two to three hours before serving.
