Crispy oat patties
In place of breadcrumbs, add ground or processed rolled oats to hamburger patties, meatloaf or meatballs to give them extra body and help bind the mixture.
Ingredients:
- Rolled oats
- Your favourite patty, meatloaf or meatball recipe.
Method:
- This clever trick will create a crispy coating and add texture and colour.
- Simply use the recipe to your favourite meat or vegetarian patties.
- Coat them in rolled oats and chill in the fridge before frying.
- Voila! You’ve got the tastiest patties you’ve ever had!
