Rosemary olive oil bread
This flavourful bread is perfect to add a little variety to your meal, or just as an afternoon snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (OR 2 ½ teaspoons dried rosemary)
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- Pinch of dried oregano
- Pinch of ground garlic
- Pinch of dried basil
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 ½ cups white whole wheat flour
- ½ cup bread flour
- 1 egg, whisked
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary, for garnish
