Spiced apple pie porridge
The perfect (and most delicious) antidote to a cool autumn or winter morning, this scrumptious porridge is sure to turn any day sweet.
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons oats
- 250ml almond or coconut milk
- 2 tablespoon almond butter, ideally raw
- 3 dates, roughly chopped (or raisins if preferred)
- ½ teaspoon mixed spice
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 apple, finely chopped
- Handful of chopped pecans or walnuts
