The $13 Kmart kitchen item shoppers are loving
A range of Kmart frying pans has received praise all around Facebook as shoppers claim the budget kitchen items are just as good as their premium competitors at a fraction of the cost.
The department store’s $13 non-stick frypans have been commended as great value for money.

“Just a heads up. These Kmart non stick pans are awesome,” one person wrote.
Others were quick to agree on the comments, with one person describing the pans as “better than Scanpan” – a Danish cookware brand that sells a similar frypan for up to $229.
“These outdid others more expensive from another store,” one shared.
“I have these also … and they are better than my old Jamie Oliver Tefal!” another wrote.
Some reviewers warned that the pans do not last as long as their upmarket counterparts.
“They last about a year but are pretty good value,” one commented.
Kmart is not the only store that shoppers recommended when it comes to affordable kitchen goods, as other retailers also earned rave reviews.
One person recommended ALDI’s Crofton range.
“I bought a complete set of Crofton pots/pans! Fifteen years later, still cooking like a champ!! (They are the shiny stainless with copper bottom!)”
The Arcosteel pans from Woolworths also gained some honourable mentions.
“My lord is it a good pan,” one shared. “I’d gone from crappy old ones that EVERYTHING stuck too to this beauty that pancakes slide around in it before you’ve even touched them with the spatula!”
