Transform your luggage with paint

No more craning your neck to find your identical boring bag. Revamp your vintage luggage with paint with this easy DIY tutorial.

You will need:

How to:

  1. Tape off all areas you don’t want to cover with paint. Wipe down the outside of your case.
  2. Cover the entirety of your luggage’s canvas in your base colour using your paint brush. This should take about two coats of paint depending on the quality of your product.
  3. Should you choose to paint soft luggage, you might try skipping the base paint and move on to the next step.
  4. Let dry. Tape on stencil and stencil any design over your luggage using your sponge brush, or, if you’re a good artist, free hand a design using a small brush.
  5. Remove stencil and let dry. Never confuse your luggage again!
