The special person Meghan Markle wants to walk her down the aisle
She broke tradition recently by being the first royal girlfriend to be invited to Christmas with the Queen, and now royal-to-be Meghan Markle is set to shake things up on her wedding day too.
E! News has reported that Ms Markle plans to have her mother, Doria Ragland, walk her down the aisle.
Traditionally, brides would be walked down the aisle by their father, however an insider claims Ms Markle would prefer to have her mother by her side, rather than ‘her reclusive father’ Thomas Markle.
With the wedding already set for May 19 at Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace hasn’t confirmed whether the mother of the bride will give her away. But apparently Ms Markle was keen to “break a tradition or two” according to E! News.
