Prince William has shared a special moment with a WWII veteran, using the special move Princess Diana used to employ in her interactions with the public.
Attending an air event to mark the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Britain this week, the Duke of Cambridge made a special with 99-year-old veteran Ken Wilkinson, bending down to chat to him in scenes reminiscent of his famous mother.
It’s a move Princess Diana often used when talking to children and disadvantaged members of the public, and this humility is part of what made the Princess so popular.
